Memberships

New (Non-paying) Members:

• Can post their profile with picture.
• Can receive messages and profiles from upgraded (paying) members, but cannot respond to or view profiles of upgraded members.
• Can read blogs, but not post their own.
• Can write in the Guest Book.
• Cannot initiate a "Crush" to another member.

Upgraded (Paying) Members:

• Can see and browse all Members.
• Can add or download streaming video and/or music to their profile.
• Can send responses to all other Members.
• Can have their picture on the website if they want, it's not mandatory, but advised.
• Can be taken off the site upon request.
• Has full access to all Chat Rooms.
• Has full access to the Message Boards.
• Can initiate a "Crush".
  
• Can send an Instant Message.
• Can have their own "Blog".

Lifetime Members:

• Can participate in every event on the website as Upgraded Members, but are never billed again.

Rules

There is to be NO:

• Posting of personal contact information, such as email addresses or phone numbers.
• Posting of links or details of other websites unless it's a Social Scoop message and you are giving the website of a restaurant or hotel.
• Flaming: messages which are:

a. insulting

b. inflammatory in nature

c. generally used to judge or criticize someone, to belittle their ideas or just to be abusive.

• Cursing (we don't mind the occasional word used to make your point, but using potty language for the sake of it is not acceptable).
• Obscenities
• Put-downs
• General rudeness
• References to your enjoyment or use of illegal activities, including but not limited to drugs abd the use thereof.
• Racial or religious slurs
• Any promotional references to commercial websites and/or references to other H-dating or otherwise "competing" websites.

Please remember what we have written elsewhere on the site: If you are not sure if what you are posting is appropriate, it probably isn't. Don't post it!

Note: LHS is first and foremost a dating site and a place for individuals to meet. We prefer to keep LHS a tightly run loose ship. While we are all adults here, the site is NOT a raunchy immoderate site. With that said, LHS requires that if you choose to post on the LHS boards, that you keep your conversation clean.

Please be advised that we may from time to time remove posts that we consider to be inappropriate for any reason, and our decision is FINAL. We may notify a member as to why we removed a post, however we will usually not be willing to engage in protracted exchanges about it. If any member causes us a problem in this area, we will not hesitate to revoke their posting capabilities. In other words, this is a nice, safe place to be...so respect it!
